Veteran Corps is proud to be a successful, growing government-services company. But our success wasn’t an accident, we use industry-standard, quality controlled processes to ensure that the work is done right, from concept through implementation and closeout. Our certifications include:
ISO 9001:2008: Ensuring Quality in Everything we Do
The International Standards Organization (ISO) is the recognized body for ensuring the highest quality management processes available. Veteran Corps achieved its ISO 9001:2008 certification in May 2012 by complying with and embracing ISO requirements for quality management. Our certification is another way to demonstrate to our customers that we don't simply talk the talk, we walk the walk. Our ISO certification underscores a demonstrated ability to consistently meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. ISO certification is our standards-based commitment to continual improvement of our system processes, as well as the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
DCAA Compliance for Complete Transparency
At Veteran Corps, we believe in transparency and full disclosure. That’s why we ask the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) to periodically review our financial systems and processes. In December 2012 and March 2013, we were audited and found to be in full compliance with DCAA guidance. DCAA performs standardized contract audit services for the Department of Defense, as well as accounting and financial advisory services regarding contracts and subcontracts to all DoD Components responsible for procurement and contract administration.
VA Verified & SBA Certified
The Department of Veterans Affairs has verified us as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and the Small Business Administration has certified that we are a Small Disadvantaged Business and 8(a) Program Participant through September 2017. Veteran Corps provides products and services through numerous contracts, including the VETS, STARS II, and SeaPort-e Government Wide Acquisition Contracts and GSA Multiple Award Schedules 70, 75, and 84. Our 8(a) status provides a simple process to meet service requirements of up to $4M and $6M for products within thirty days. Find out how our certification can help your procurement needs.
